UKS is where UNINETT's members turn for dial-up services on an ISDN
system, both for individual PCs and for entire Local Area Networks.
The Customer Support Center handles new customers, sends out the necessary
hardware and software, and provides support and guidance for subscribers
during all stages of the connection process. The Customer Support
Center also provides support to customers during their transition
from a dedicated line subscription to UNINETT.
UNINETT Purchase Agreements
UKS is also the place where UNINETT's members have access to software
at great prices, through special contracts negotiated by UNINETT.
The Customer Support Center assists with:
Marketing and information to members regarding purchase
agreements.
Registration and invoicing for use of the agreements
Keeping up to date with software vendors so that we can sell
software and provide
information about the software to our
subscribers
Maintaining and updating the Web pages for this service.
